Our conservation laboratory caters to the conservation and restoration needs of the community. We can help with the conservation and restoration of architectural items/parts such as windows, doors, lighting, fittings, fixtures, furniture and other items.  The lab will allow HI to provide hands-on restoration training to the community.

The first educational program, Introduction to Timber Framing, was held on September 12th, 2009. Our second educational program entitled Carpentry 101 was held Saturday November 7th. A follow up session, for the attendees of the first session will be held November 14th, 2009. The class will cover intermediate carpentry projects based on participants’ questions from the first session.
